-----Question-----
Hey I have a 2002 Tahoe with 52,000 mile on her I am thinking about putting in a whipple supercharger. My question, What if anything do I need to do to the tranny? Also, Would I need to change out the fuel injectors?
-----Answer-----
How much boost are you planning on running? I wouldn't go past 8 psi on the stock motor and yes more than likely you will need bigger injectors. I would guess 42 lb injectors from what I've read about them. Make sure you re-tune the PCM.

Answer
Your tranny obviously won't live as long as it would if it had a stock motor. I would definately put in a stage II Transgo shift kit and transmission cooler. Some programmers let you increase the line pressure but you should also put in a Transgo shift kit.

When the tranny blows a few years later, rebuild it with more clutches. Don't just get a rebuild kit. Make sure it has more clutches.
