Chevrolet: 1989 Chevy Cavelier, auto parts store, local auto

Hello,

I have a 1989 Chevy Cavelier Z24.  A couple weeks ago the blinkers stopped working.  The four-ways still work so I know the bulbs are fine,  and all the fuses are fine.  A guy at the local auto-parts store told me it was the flasher, and sold me this little silver round plug in thing, but I can't find where it goes.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanx in advance.

I think it should be where the fuses were but it could be in the same area or it could be under the hood on the driver side. You could put your flashers on and where the clicking noise comes from is where it should be close to it.
