Chrysler: Problems starting a 96 chrysler seabring, internal electronic components, coil wire

Question
Hello, I have a 96 chrysler seabring, 2.5 6cyl. and I recently went to put a power steering pump on it and in the pump packet it said to disable the engine from starting and turn it over to bleed out the pump. So I took the plug wires off of the distributor cap and turned it over a few times to bleed out the pump. When I replaced the plug wires (in the proper order, I am positive) the car now will not start. I have tried disconnecting the battery and pumping the brake in hopes to restart the computer. The only thing that anyone has said is that something may have been fried becuase the spark had to go somewhere. Could my computer be done? or is there anything that you can think of that could help me..... please!
Sincerely,

Answer
You should ALWAYS ground the coil wire whenever you perform this type of task. Otherwise the ignition just bounces around inside the ignition and can cause damage to the various internal electronic components.

When you PULLED the plug wires out of the distributor cap exactly HOW did you remove them ?. As there is a SPECIAL procedure that MUST be done in order to remove the wires.
