Dodge: 1997 dodge caravan starts then dies, dodge caravan, vaccum

My neighbor has a 97 dodge caravan. It starts up fine for a few seconds then dies. None of the gauges work while it is running. Check engine light has never came on. Someone told her it could be the alarm. Is there a fuse or something I could disconnect to solve the problem?

Hmm..this is peculiar but I'm gonna take a stab at it. How is the connection on the Map sensor? Vaccum and harness? Check all the fuses. If it is the alarm and it came factory, there it probably a fuse for it.
