Dodge: Dodge Intrepid fuel question., crankshaft position sensor, gas gauge

This evening my car did something weird and I'd like your advise on it.

With over 3/4 full tank, tried starting and it will turn over but acts like out of fuel, also gas gauge shows no fuel.  Just in case someone siphoned by tank I added a gallon and it made no difference.  Do you have any suggestions?  Thanks.

What kind of car and year is it.Have you ever had any problems with the fuel guage?I had a similar problem this weekend,Had a crankshaft position sensor put on my mother-in-laws car,She called and said it would not start again.When i went over to check it i looked at the fuel guage and noticed it read empty,So i asked her if she ran it out of gas,she said no but she put 1 gallon of gas in the car,but the car was sitting on a hill and the fuel was not pumping to the engine...Sorry to make this so long but sometimes a gallon of gas is not enough to start the car.If the guage is reading empty and you said it has 3/4 of a tank someone must have siphoned your gas out!This was the reason i asked if you'd had fuel guage problems before.Thanks if you need more help please let me know and we will go from there.RamMan
