Ford: 2003 f350 super duty 6.0 powerstroke, fan clutch, cooler service

Question
Hello,

After sitting 16 hours or more, my truck will hard start then stall. It requires
three attempts of this cycling before it will finally continue to run;
sometimes needing some pumping of the accelerator to avoid stalling.
Once started, the truck runs fine and will continue to restart with no issue
until it sits for that duration again.

A local dealer has done the following work:
Replace fan clutch
Replace erg valve
Replace cac tuber and belt
Replace erg cooler
Service oil cooler

All of theirs items were done in an attempt to troubleshoot and solve the
issue,  they inspected the fuel filters and did not believe they should be
replaced.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Answer
Your losing fuel pressure what i would do next time it sits on top of the engine center front the is a fuel filter open it and see if it is low if it is then on the side of the filter there is a fuel release valve yellow in color it may be leaking . get the new one from only the dealer . and very easy to install 20 min.
