Ford: 77 f150, jumper cables, fusible links

Question
I have a 77 f150 with a 460. while doing a quick swap on my battery i accidentally connected to the opposite terminals, and tried starting. i quickly realized then swapped. everything is connected correctly, i put a new solenoid in and new fuses. but everytime i turn the key nothing happens. all my secondaries that are run off direct cables work fine and it sparks with jumper cables so i'm getting power. trying to figure out what the most probable issue is before i start throwing parts at it.

recap: wrong hook up. new solenoid, new fuses. turn key... nothing.. thanks for your time.

Answer
Hello

Well the truck should crank even if you toasted the computor, so let's start there.

can you jump start the truck? (bypass the ignition switch)

on the fender mounted solenoid, un plug the small wire and jump the battery positive to this post . make sure truck is in park or nuetral
Do you have a Check engine light or service engine soon light on the dash with key on?

If it now cranks, check for power through the ignition switch ( you will need a wiring diagram from the library or a parts store)

Have you checked your fusible links?

Is it Manual transmission?
