vehicle is shimmying and making noises. like a muffled helicopter

Sparkplugs have been changed, radiator flushed, fuel filter changed

could this be the manifold gasket or a cracked engine.

how long before it breaks down?

is it safe to drive it?

When you say shimmy, are you meaning that steering wheel wobbles while vehicle is moving? Or vehicle bounces or wobbles when moving?

If so, 1st thing... check all your wheel nuts!


Does it feel as though the rear is bouncing or wobbling, or the front?

lift the vehicle and turn the wheels by hand look for a lump or bulge or tread not straight, indicating a seperated tire or bent rim. In worst cases, this can also produce a wup, wup sound
