I have a 97 F150 and Saturday the battery was dead after not driving it for a month, bought new battery, everything seemed fine... Monday I leave to go to work and the heat blower is blowing with the key out of it, it starts I go to work...airbag light on all the way...   later I go out and check it and all dash lights are on and blower still blowing, but it starts... and hour later, it wont start, all the lights on but the dim and get bright and when they get bright it dings like normal but wont start or crank.. dome light fine??  Shall I just set it on fire like I wanted to do?

Answer
No... you can't just set it on fire... we're going to have to check it out... the first thing that needs to be checked is the ignition switch... (It is located twards the bottom f the steering column...) ckeck that first and we can go from there...  Here is a link to the wiring pinout of the ignition switch... (It is hosted on my photobucket site because we can't post pics here...)
