Ford: check engine light-1997 thunderbird, o2 sensors, shell gas

Question
Hey!  Finally I can get back to you.  I had Auto Zone hook my car up, and we got 5 different codes, 135, 136, 141, 155, and 161.  He said they were probably O2 sensors, but I trust you a lot more than Auto Zone, so when you get the chance, let me know what it could be.  Thank you so much for your help, I really do appreciate it!-------------------------

Hi!  I've had my 97 thunderbird for 2 years.  The very first time we changed the oil, the check engine light came on.  My dad is a ford mechanic (has been for 25 years), he doesn't seem concerned.  However, it drives me insane.  We've changed it many, many times since, the light stays on! The car has ran well until recently, now it's just a little rough.  Are there some things my husband (who knows about cars too just not as much!) can check to try to fix it.  Why would it just come on after the oil was changed?  Thank you so much for any help!

first what grade oil did he put in it?what is the code #?if you don't know then just go to auto zone and just have them ck it .thay won't charge you but do not buy any parts yet.let me know first..

Answer
these are codes for only o2 sensors curcuit malfunction there is a good chance that the sensors are shorted.but first make sure you are not using shell gas . this will cause a o2 code we been having a lot of problems with this gas.if not then disconect your battery for 10 mim and start it up to see if the light comes on if so then it's o2 time
