GM-GMC: fuel, crank case, diaphram

Got a 85 chevy half ton 4x4,getting gas in the crank case.I was told that the fuelpump diaphram was leaking so I put a new pump on it and it is mechanical.when I checked the gas about 3 days later it was empty.where is it going and is it going into the crankcase again.if so what could be the problem?

i guess i want to ask you how full did you have the tank? i do not believe that the fuel pump would have anything to do with gas gettin into the crank case... maybe a crack in the carb or a leak in the fuel line but i dont think this would cause gas to go in the case... do you smell it in the crank case? there's never gas on the ground? i would not be able to tell you where the gas is going but make sure that there are no leaks in the line .. any gas leak is noticable by smell. does the truck run?
