GM-GMC: 1997 5.0L gmc, spark plug gaps, firing order

recently changed cap,rotor,plugs, and wires, now my engine light is on, and i have a rough idle and a hesitation, ive checked my firing order and made sure wires were connected and all is good, could you put a cap or rotor on wrong??? thanx appreciated!!

If it started after you changed things it must be related to what you have done.  Double check your spark plug connections, double check the spark plug gaps, the wire location, the cap, the rotor, check everything one at a time and try it after each step or if you know someone with a good scanner you can look to see what cylinder is misfiring and narrow your search to that cylinder.
