GM-GMC: Decals and trim, sticky foam, countless products

Question
If I take a decal off the back of my truck (one similar to the "4x4" stickers) will the paint around it be faded and it will show because the paint underneath is fresh?  Can I buff this out?  Also, how can i take pinstripes off the side without harming the paint.  Last question, if I take the trim off my truck, will there be glue or sticky foam underneath?  Will I have to repaint this or can I also buff this out?  Thanks

I am no bodyman, however, you may be able to wet sand or polish the truck to reduce any difference.  As for pinstripes, try a hair dryer to help get them off.  As for the sticky stuff, there are countless products that will remove it, but be aware that it will also remove any wax or protectant you may have applied.  Be sure to reapply.
