GM-GMC: Gas Leak, gmc sierra, uncommon problem

I have gas leaking from my exhaust manifold connection to the tail pipe on the driver side.  I have a 1995 GMC Sierra 1500 4.3Ltr. What could be a cause for this?

I would suspect the flange where the manifold and the y pipe meet has rotted.  You will need either a new manifold, a new y pipe or both.  This is not an uncommon problem on that year and make of truck.  Replacement is next to impossible without oxy-acet torches.
