GM-GMC: GM transmission rattling, gmc yukon, gm transmission

I have a 2003 GMC Yukon with 75,000 miles. It is rattling in "park" but when you put it in gear, the noise stops. No problems shifting, no codes, etc. Any ideas? Thanks for any advice.

Are you sure it is the trans?

Can it be the exhaust ?

When you put the trans in Drive , you are putting a load on the trans therefore it quiets up . Is it a clinging sound . metal /to /Metal ?


Also I have had a heat shield cause the same problem as well
