GM-GMC: 1996 gmc got gas it died 5 min later, gmc 4x4, vortec

I have a 96 3/4 ton gmc 4x4 with 350 vortec.  got some gas this morning, 5 minutes later the truck dies like it has ran out of gas. I'm new to this city so a co-worker suggested a garage. the guy is now saying that there's about 55 lbs? of fuel pressure, and the truck has spark, the fuel injectors have power going to them, so it must need a new set of injectors.  I keep thinking it's bad fuel. or some dead sensor...

Have you tried changing the fuel filter them things work great until they clog and then you got nothing thats where i always start when i run into a fuel problem and just getting gas its possible if there was some junk in the bottom of the tank or something it could have stired it up and went thru the fuel line and clogged it.
