GM-GMC: changing lug patterns, brake master cylinder, true conversion

THis is a 1967 Chevy 3/4 ton w/8lug 16 in wheels. I would like to change to 5 lug regular Chevy ppattern. What all is involved? Thanks in advance

To accomplish a true conversion, you would have to replace the front spindles and the rear axle.  The spindles could be hard to find.  There might also be brake master cylinder and proportioning valve issues.  If you could find an entire donor truck, you might be able to get everything that you need.

You might be better off trying to find some adapters that would permit you mount the five lug wheels, but I am not certain that they are available for your application.

I would check with a custom wheel shop about the adapters.
