GM-GMC: engine surging and bucking, coolant temp, flatbed trailer

Question
I have a 1991 gmc 5.7 vandura van when started it will surge up and down and if driven. van will buck.after 10 or 15 minutes it will run a little better but if shut off for a minute or two and restarted after driven for a while it will do it all over again. I have changed about everything I can think of. I'm also getting a code 44. I had recently had engine rebuilt, changed cpu, tps, egr valve, egr valve relay,o2 sensor, iac valve twice, distributer, coolant temp.sensor twice, fuel pump, pressure regulator. when I crimp the return fuel line it seems to smooth out could it be the spring is weak,or injectors there's not much left to change fuel module or spark control module, knock sensor.also transmission rebuilt I took it be the t.v. cable they assured me the tranny is good.

Answer
The most common fault whenever an engine is rebuilt is that the facility usually has numerous OPEN wire connectors and the vehicle is usually pushed outside thus being exposed to the weather.

The moisture gets into these OPEN electrical connectors and starts to CORRODE and contaminate the small connection pins in the connectors. After about a week of exposure these connections get real contaminated and they push the vehicle bac inside and WITHOUT cleaning OUT ALL the connectors they simply plug them back into the other half of the connector of which has usually been kept in the shop out of the weather. Within a day or a few days to a few weeks the connections start to fail and all sorts of problems arise.

I have bought several vehicles under this condition where the owner was so frustrated, I was ablke to buy the vehicle extremly cheap and took it back to my place where I commenced to clean out all the contaminated connectors and tset each and every connector for proper continuity and sell the vehicle for a nice tidy profit.

If you are at this stage of ANGER, let me know and I just might buy yours. I will bring my flatbed trailer on the back of my dually P/U and bring CASH.

Let me know.
