well i bought the car thinking it had vtec but it doesnt its just a single cam it has a D16A6 is this engine worth modifing, if it is, about how many ponies could i get out of it?

hi the japanese civics have the D16A which is a 1600 Dohc PGFI injected engine producing 130 hp. If it's the JDM engine you can modify it good if not or you do want to buy a vtec get an sir engine and it will fit straight in the sir is the one with the vtec engine it's the same shape as yours.
