Hyundai: wiring harness, hyundai sonata, auto zone

I have a 2000 Hyundai Sonata w/approx 100,000 miles on it.  Recently the CHECK ENGINE light cane on and when i took it to an auto zone they said it was the 6th cylinder, when i took it to the dealership, they said they had to replace the entire wiring harness for this on plug, i have a mechanic that said he would splice a new plug on but he doesn't have time to look for one, he did take the old plug up tp a dealership once but they didn't have a plug that would fit, do you know of anyplace i could find a replacement plug and what information do i need?  have you heard of this problem before?

Hello, I am sorry, but I for some reason can't picture the wire that you are referring to.  Can you tell me where it's located or have your mechanic tell you the name of it?  Right now I can't answer your question. I'm really sorry, if you wan't, give me more info, and I'll help you out. Thank You.
