Mercedes: Engine cut-out., mercedes e class, electrical failure

Mercedes E-Class 240 1999 Auto. Engine will start and run fine until temperature reaches normal, then engine will cut out. Car will then turn over but not fire-up until left for at least twenty minutes. Have been told that there is no manual for this car, can you confirm?

Need additional info. Once started is there any skip or hesitation during the warm up?
You could have an electrical failure because of heat rise. The coil could be opening up. or the fuel pump could be getting hot and stopping fuel flow.
The stoppage symptoms would indicate one or the other.
I cannot confirm the lack of a manual.
