Mercedes: mercedes c280 ignition keys, mercedes c280, model change

Hi,
I have 2 ignition key/remotes left over from my stolen mercedes c280 2007.
Can these ever be reprogramed to be used in another similar MB?

Don,
With each series change, there may be differences in how the key controls the actions of the ignition, electronic lock system and security system.
I would recommend calling a dealer to determine if your keys can be programed for the vehicle you have now.
AS you probably know any key  replacement can be a pricey thing. Reprogramming or replacement seems to have gone up with the each model change.
