Question
Have a the 1989 mercedes 190e cosworth 2.5 16v and cannot locate
the fuel cut off switch, car will not start but all electrics are
working ???

Hello Michael,
Have you verified that the fuel pump is producing fuel at the fuel rail? Listen with the gas cap open, or near the rear wheel well. I would expect that you should be able to hear the pump operating when you turn on the key.
If you remove the air cleaner and spray a little starting fluid in the intake and the engine starts and quits immediately, then fuel delivery is the problem.
The fuel pump relay may be your problem or a bad fuel pump. Or you may have a clogged fuel filter.
