Pontiac: how long should repairs take, pontiac grand am, intake manifold

Question
I have a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am V6 which needs the faulty intake manifold replaced, a new starter, an oil change and the front brake pads replaced.  How long should all of this take?  My car has been in the shop since Saturday and they are saying they need another day.

Answer
It should only take about 4-6 hours to do all of that. Depending on which engine you have. I can usually do all of that in about 2.5 hours. Maybe they are having problems getting some of the parts that they need. And I'm sure they have other cars in the shop, besides yours, that need to be worked on also.
