Toyota: 1993 Toyota Camry vent odor..., toyota camry, air vent

My daughter has a 1993 Toyota Camry that has a constant mildewy type odor
coming from the air vents...with just air vent, a/c or heat use.....can this be
fixed?

Take the car to a Toyota dealership service department, and have them perform an "AC disinfecting". We have special tools and a chemical that rectifys this condition. After the cleaning is done, make sure she runs the AC on RECIRCULATE...this lessens the chance of spors and other mildew-causing microbes from getting into the heater box.
