Toyota: 00 corolla fuel system, cold car, fuel pump

Question
when I press on the gas (mainly when the car isn't warmed up), the engine sputters and wants to die. I have to feather the gas to get it going. When the car warms up, it seems to go away. Don't know if it's a filter, a pump, electrical, etc...  Can you help me?

                          Thanks

Answer
Hello,

It's difficult to say without testing the car, but this is quite normal with a cold car. Drive it carefully without go full throttle until the car is totally warmed up, otherwise you could cause damage to the engine.

Or the problem could be the fuel pump, or the spark plugs.
