It would be great if you could sent me the DPD parts list with pictures.
Do you also have wiring diagrams, instruction manual ?

My Karmann Ghia is registered in the netherlands in april 1971, however model/production date is september 1970 ! I suppose I will need the information that was available on model sept 1970.

First of all I want to apologise for my poor english. I live in the Netherlands, near Amsterdam, Europe.  I'm the proud owner of a 1971 Karmann Coupe. I recently bought an underdash a/c unit manufactured by DPD. That's all I have.
Can you give me some advice on the possibility to obtain all parts needed to get the system working.
Here in europe I can't find anything from DPD. I suppose they only delivered/installed a/c in the USA. What components do I need (do I need to find original parts or are there also repro items.)
Please help me out here, when you now addresses of people who have these components for sale....
What I do know is that the original bracket that links the compressor to the engine is a must. I don't have this item, do you know where I can buy one, do you have these parts ??

Your English is great!  I have the original DPD parts list w/pictures and names for a 1971 Ghia Coupe.   It may take me a little while to scan it, but I will.

Any cars built after August of the year before, get's the year before label, as VW would expect that car not to be sold until Jan/Feb which is the new model year.

Yes, the DPD book has the wiring instructions.  I'll get it out as soon as I can.
