HI,I REALLY NEED SOME ADVICE/HELP. I HAVE A 2001 VOLVO S80 AND THE REAR BRAKE LIGHT ARE ALWAY STUCK ON. WHEN I STEP ON THE BRAKE PEDAL THE THRID BRAKE LIGHTS COME ON AND OFF NORMAL BUT THE BRAKE LIGHT ON THE REAR BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT STAYS ON ALL THE TIME.THANKS

If the brake pedal is not stuck partly down making a slight contact, then I would say that the brake light relays for the rear lights has gone bad. There was a service bulletin on the faulty relays for some of the Volvo's, yours maybe included. Go to the dealer and see about the possibility of the relays in your car being bad. If you call have the model and VIN ready.
