Volvo: Volvo electrical freakout, fuse panels, brake failure

Question
Hello:
Major Rainstorm in the Southwest.. covered the car with blankets during the hail portion.  Came out when it subsided and removed blankets, unfortunately appears I pulled a stupid and the blanket may have conducted water inside the vehicle. (? for how long).  I surmise most of the H2O ran down the A pillar driver side.
Not realizing any of this yet, the next day I started it up, headed out, felt like the car went into "limping" mode, all manner of lights, first stability control warning, then ABS, then brake failure, then check engine. Then no speedo or RPM.. turned around to return home.  I suspect water damage to electrical; but do not know where to start.  Returned home, put car in park; shut off engine.  Light still remained on in the "drive" position after putting into park, would not update itself.  Radio, lights, indicators all working fine.  I pray it just needs to dry out but could I be so lucky?  Where should I look for a short if that is what happened?  Troubleshooting suggestions?  I have a code reader but haven't used it as yet. Thanks.

Answer
Chris,
No telling were to look. Just keep an eye on things and as they need attention repair them. A few days to dry may work. You may want to contact your insurance company and inform them the vehicle has water damage. Open the fuse panels and allow the air to dry things out.
