4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: tires on cherokee, rough country lift, wheel spacers

Question
QUESTION: im lookin to get a cherokee when i get back from iraq.  i wanna put a 4.5 rough country lift on it and i wanna run as big of tires as i can,  i dont mind cutting the fenders and wheel wells and i dont mind spacers and all that good stuff so what do you think i can get on there even if i have to trim it a good bit

ANSWER: First off, I assume you are with the military and would like to say "Thank you!" Second On a 4 1/2 inch lift on a cherokee with cut fenders, I believe 35's will do nicely on it. I don't think there will be a clearance issue if the fenders and inner fenders are trimmed doing it that way and the wheel spacers may be needed to clear for steering

QUESTION: how much do you think i would have to trim and would i be able to trim a 4 door enough to clear 35s

Answer
well you figure a 4.5 inch lift is good for 33's so the 35's will only be 1 inch bigger on either side of the tire. So you may not even have to trim it at all and you also may just be able to put some 1.5 inch body spacers and not trim at all and have a cleaner look without hacking it up
