4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: Cadillac Escalade, toyota rav4, cadillac escalade

I appreciate your time and your reply.  I have looked at edmunds.com also when I have need to research a car.  I just thought this this is a good price for this vehicle.  I guess I am wondering what you would do if you were in my shoes.  Do some more research on other SUV or prusue the cadillac Escalade furthur?  Again let me that you ahead of time for your time and adivce?

Hi,

I am wondering about the pricing of a Cadillac Escalade 2004.  It is in the showroom floor and they have a sticker price of 55,000.00 on the car with a sale sign of 43,900.00.  I asked the salesman why would this car sell for this price.  He said that it is the last new 2004 Escalade that they have on the lot and they want to make room for the 2005s.  I went to Kelly's Blue Book and typed in all the info, and it says that a Dealer would pay 51,000.00 for a base 2004 6.0L V8.  It is a V8 AWD, 50 miles on it, no sunroof, no navigation, and no chrome wheels.  But other than that it looks great.  Is this deal to good to be true, or have I found a bargin?

Hi Again Michael.  You are now to the point you have to make the decision about the vehicle.  My personal opinion is that there are many other vehicles as good, or better, but that is my opinion.  I drive a Toyota RAV4 which is perfect for me but would drive you crazy.  Carefully consider which vehicle is best for you, negotiate a fair price you can live with and but the vehicle.  You will have many years of happiness and contentment.  Best of Luck, Bud
