have knocking/clunking noise and vibration visable in front wheels upon hard turn to right. removed front driveshaft, driveaxles, noise seemed to go away, drove car on freeway and noise returned, sounds like bad cv joint on front wheel drive car.

I would guess that you have a bad wheel bearing in the front end.  Another possibility, is that you have a bad, or flat spot on one of your front tires.  I would suggest that you take the Jeep to a reputable front end shop, and have them check the tires, bearings, and give it a front end alignment.  This should find, and cure your problem.
