QUESTION: m really thankful 2 u for ur time,,

my mecenic told me that the power of engine is getting week, one pipe connected to my air filter form piston chamber which is connected before,he released it up and i find a bit betterment in pickup of my car.

it is giving very good milage in fact like 18-20 in city conditions, but again it feels heavy load when i turn my a/c on and a.c. also not works well.

m really feel problem u pls tell me the solution, i wd be thankful to you

thanks and regards

ANSWER: The A/C will cause a loss of power to be noticed.  The power to run the A/C has to come from somewhere.  As to the A/C not working well, that's a function of how much refrigerant the system contains.

QUESTION: thanks for your support,,

sir i just want to know that the low performance of a.c. is due to the back compression (or decrement in the power of engine) or it is the problem related with the air conditioning only

thanks and regards

Answer
If the motor runs well enough to pull the vehicle, and run the air conditioner at the same time, then the motor is not the problem.  Usually, air conditioner performance problems are within the air conditioner itself.  Most of the time the problem is that the refrigerant charge is low.
