Suzuki: white smoke, antifreeze leak, head gasket

Question
Aloha David, i have a 88  lifted  samari  when it warms up it starts blowing
white smoke the heads where changed by the previous owner ..what should i
do????  its  just rusting here in  maui

Answer
If its a coolant (antifreeze leak), it will consume coolant, and the exhaust will smell sweetish.  If it's engine oil, it will use oil, and the exhaust will smell rather like a two-stroke.  It may be a head gasket, which isn't terribly expensive or difficult to replace.  If you can't diagnose it yourself, take it to a mechanic you trust, and find out.
