Suzuki: 95 susuki stalls, throttle position sensor, question thanks

Question
QUESTION: My 95 Susuki Sidekick stalls when I press on the accelerator.  I put new wires and plugs in and the rotor looks good.  When I spray "Carb & Choke" cleaner into the carb the car runs fine all day.  The next day the very same thing happens all over again.

ANSWER: Is it strictly temperature related?  The TPS adds additional fuel especially when accelerating cold.
This will require careful methodical trouble shooting with a factory manual.  OR parts can be installed until it's fixed.

QUESTION: Thanks for the response.  I live in the U.S.V.I.,so I don't think it's temperature related.  Now the car starts and idles fine but when I "stomp" on the accelerator it starts backfiring and sounds like its going to stall (poesable flooding).  I can also slowly accelerate the throttle without backfiring and little hesitation.

Answer
If it backfires, it's too lean (not enough fuel, not flooding)  The tps (throttle position sensor) is a possible suspect, along with a partially plugged fuel filter which could limit the amount of fuel delivered when the engine is cold, and requires more fuel.
