Tips on Buying Cars: How long will this car last, chevy corisca, japanese vehicle

Hi this is Amy again...the car is a chevy corisca and it is a 95 the only thing wrong with it is it has alot of miles...our car the motor just went up in it and we need another car and the man next door is selling it for 800.00 and we tried to get loans for cars and they wont let us.

Normally i would say NO to something like this...BUT, if there are no alternatives, here is my suggestion: How bad does your neighbor want to get rid of the car? It really is not worth $800.00, i would offer $450.00, reasons, old mileage is SUPER high for a domestic vehicle, and miles are high for a 10 year old car.......Settle at $600.00 if you have to but i wish we could find you a japanese vehicle instead...Please let me know how things go, and if any other questions please feel free to ask!
