Tips on Buying Cars: returning cars, kelly blue book, trade in value of my car

Question
hi. just wondering...i just traded in my 2010 SUV for  a 2011 unexpectedly. the APR was too low to resist but my mistake was i didnt check the trade in value of my car before i did this. i signed all transactions and got the new car. when i got home checked on kelly blue book and  found out the trade in value of my old one was too high compared to what they asked for. now, i'm too upset... can i do something about this? like return this new car or ask for a reconsideration to re-do the transaction process to give me more for my old car's worth????? just curious... thanks!

Answer
Hi Cheng,

OUCH,,, we all make mistakes.

Your only out is if you can prove misrepresentation or something of substance on bill of sale is incorrect, otherwise the deal is signed sealed and delivered.

Wish you had been able to study this link on my website http://www.usedcartips.org/TRDE.html   prior to and not after the fact,,, you been burned once but hopefully never twice.
