Tips on Buying Cars: buying a truck, gentleman, money

i just bought a truck that was to include an inspection. when the gentleman delivered the truck he "forgot" the inspection. he said he would fax it to us since it was a 3 hour drive we agreed but had him write on the bill of sail "inspection to be faxed" is that enough to protect us if an inspection it is not sent? can we get our money back?and how long should we wait

Thanks for your question.  To answer your question, no it is not enough to get you out of a ticket, if you get stopped.  Secondly, if you bought the vehicle from a dealer, it is illegal to sale a vehicle without current inspection.  Thirdly, you can not FAX a inspection.  Fourth, you can get your money back, because again, it is illegal!!!
