Tips on Buying Cars: purchasing a fleet used car, fleet companies, fleet vehicle

Hi,
 I have not been sucessful in finding online a legitimate looking web site for
buying a fleet owned Ford escape or similar mid sized SUV.  We live in Queens
New York and need to spend less than the used car prices we are encountering
from dealers who are apparently buying these same cars.  Thanks!!

Most fleet companies use the auto auctions to sell their vehicles when they are done with them.  In order to purchase a fleet vehicle from the auction, you must be a licensed dealer.  I am not aware of any website or venue that allows consumers the ability to buy a fleet owned vehicle.  I wish I could help you, but I am not aware of any avenue of the such for this purpose.
