Hi, I live in charleston, I'm about to buy a car from where I work. It will be under 1,000.00 and I will pay cash. What are all things I need to do before I drive the car off the lot. Insurance,registration,title,taxes and in what order do these have to be done. Also, do you think my insurance will be high I just got my license and I am 22 1/2.

Tamara...sorry it took so long to answer you, been out of town.

I don't know about Charleston but here in Texas you have to have insurance to register the car, the seller needs to give you a buyers order that includes your sales tax. If it is a dealer they will do all this for you. I have no idea about your insurance.
