QuestionHi Steve...I'm looking at buying a 2003 Accord coupe (ex-L). It's certified pre-owned and despite being 5 years old, it only has 47,000 miles. The list price is $16,595, but I'm not sure where I should start negotiating. Ideally I'd like to pay $14,500 or so all-in (title, tax, etc.) but is that unrealistic? If not, where should I start the negotiation?
Thanks!
Answeri would offer $14,200, then in negotiations i would not go over $14,300 BUT, you would ahve to pay the tax tag etc....Sounds like a fair price if a carfax checks out...An alternative would be a 2007 Hyundai Sonata, which you could get woth under 20,000 miles for about $13,900 plus taxes...It is a very good vehicle..You should investigate that...Let me know if you have any further questions..Good Luck!!
