Tires: 2001 VWEurovan Camper (Winnebago Conversion), dunlop sp sport, continental vanco

Question
Thank you for your quick reply to my recent question about tires.  I would appreciate it if you would recalculate the pressure for my new tires.  I do not have access to the tire load tables.  The Eurovan's placard states:
GAWR: FRT 3329 lb  225/60R16 49PSI; RR 3108 lb  225/60/R16  49PSI
The vehicle GVWR is 5997 lb.
The original tires were Dunlop SP Sport 2000E, 225/60/R16 XL,
102H.  The new tires are Continental Vanco 2, 215/65/R16 C,
109/107 R, load range 1030KG (2271 lb) at 475 KPA (69 PSI).

Answer
Dee,

Just so we are clear, the Dunlops were NOT the original tires.  They do not have enough load carrying capacity - as indicated by the placard info.

And the rest is easy.  For practical purposes, The 215/65C16 C 109/107 is functionally equivalent to the 225/60R16 listed on the placard - so the inflation pressure is the same - 49 psi.

BTW, why not make it an even fifty?
