Tires: Changing Tire Size, toyota celica, speed rating

Question
My '03 Toyota Celica has P195/60R15 H tires.  Generally, what should I expect if these tires are replaced with P195/65R15 H tires; road noise, cornering, etc.

Answer
Bob,

Aside from a speedometer (and odometer) error of 3% - which will cause you to think you are going 60 mph, but you are really going 62 mph - the difference of a single tire size is small enough that differences between tires (brand, speed rating, tire line, etc.) will have more effect.

But directionally, you will get better ride, better fuel economy, but worse handling.  Everything else is dependent on the tire itself, not the size.
