Tires: Tire size, dodge dakota, rim width

Question
I just bought a 2003 Dodge Dakota.  The sticker on the door frame calls for P24570R16.  The dealer put new tires on as part of the deal.  They put on P26570R16 tires.  Are there any concerns with a 20mm increase in width?  Thanks.

Answer
Pete,

The most major concern is the 2% change in speedometer, and it will read low - you will be going faster than indicated.

The rim width is OK for the new size, and provided there is enough room in the fenderwells - and I'm about 75% sure there is - you should be OK.
