Tires: Rim shape, chev impala, rim shape

Hi Jack-

I recently blew a flat on my 2003 Chev Impala.  I got off the highway as quickly as possible, but I'm concerend I might have damaged the rim (which is aluminum alloy, if that matters). When I removed the tire to put on the spare, I noticed there seemed to be a slight 'bulge' in one spot on the inner side of the rim.  Is that damage, or is that the spot where a tire jack can go when a new tire is being placed on the rim?  Thanks so much for your help.

Chris,  I hate to say it but looks like you may have damaged the rim. Have the dealer look at it and if it is damaged you can probly find one on Ebay for a forth of  the price the dealer charges.  I bought a whole set of silverado rims with lug nuts for $125
