Used Cars: Corporate Lease Vehicle, rental car companies, corporate fleet

Car Fax states that a vehicle at a dealership was a Corporate Fleet Vehicle from 6-2-09 - 11-2-09. Should we be suspicious as we can't find any info about such short term leases.  Thank you!

i wouldn't be too suspicious if you are buying from a large franchise store.  We get these vehicles in all the time, I work for a Ford dealership and often we get Fords with the same scenario, they are corporate or fleet vehicles for Ford, therefore since they already own them no lease. Also rental car companies fall into this category, depending on what state the vehicle was first registered in, a title history from that state will usually tell you who owned it first, or even ask the dealer to see the title, it usually lists the previous owner or lessee.
