I have driven OTR 48 state and local since 1988 and have now started a hotshot company. I have USDOT and MC and insurance. a question asked by another person was will he needs permits for every state and youe reply was 'yes'. i am elected gross 24K and am under the impression i am good to go. Can you elaborate on the every state permit thing?

If your a commercial carrier, every state is going to want some of that fuel tax money for you driving on their roads.  Contact www.dotauthority.com (or the state directly) and they can help you with the permits.
