I would like to know if you could tell me if there are any sites out there that can help in finding the correct mileage for driving and how to price your freight correct.

I am new to all of this and any help would be helpful.

You can also get miles from Google maps or you can buy various online or CD versions of mapping and mileage programs.
PC-Miler, http://www.alk.com/pcmiler/
is popular with truckoload carriers, but it's not free.
Pricing is 1/2 art and 1/2 science.
1. Know your costs and the difference between fixed and variable costs.
2. Know your customer and their specific needs.
3. Know your competition and exploit their weakness and your strength.
