Vintage Cars: Fuel Injection, coolant temperature, carb adjustments

Question
I have a 1978 280CE 123.053-110.984.  It runs really good, but if I put it in neutral or pull up to the light, it's idling to fast.  I pulled off the air cleaner. Is there an idling screw I should look for?  Please help?  I just bought it.  Thanks!

Answer
a 280CE, the E stands for injection. I would think that the ilde valve is faulty. This engine has an idle valve that is coolant temperature dependent. It will decrease the engine as the coolant warms.

make sure timing is set as well.  there are carb adjustments, but start with above
