Hi Ron, I'm writing for a friend of mine in Germany.  He's the proud owner of a Mercedes 300 SE Cabriolet, chassis #11202312009328  First registered in the US (CA?) July 1, 1966. Re-imported to Germany in 1998. I'm trying to find service and ownership history for him.  Do you have any ideas how or where we might find this info?

Nice car , your best bet is to tell him to contact Mercedes Classic center, they can give him build information and may be able to tell him the port of entry and first owner.  From there it is detective work
